  Our monthly networking lunch is held every third Tuesday with networking from 11:30 to 12 and lunch and speaker from 12 to 1 pm at the Polo Grill and Bar in Lakewood Ranch.

  
  

  Topic:  Converting Ideas to Apps

  There is no dearth of ideas on how to make life simpler by automating tasks, organizing business data and intelligence or tracking events.  In this session we discuss the process of converting ideas to apps and how you can make money doing so.

  But what are apps?  What does it take to develop one?  How long does it take to develop one? Can I do it on my own?  Are there tools available that will let me develop the app?  How much does it cost?  What do I do when the app development is complete?

  The presentation will answer these and many other questions that you might have.

  Presenters:  Ravi K Ghai
  

  Ravi Ghai is an entrepreneur who has started numerous companies and sold one to NYSE listed company.  He has also held senior management positions at many technology companies.  Currently he owns Competitive Strategies and NutsITLab and is COO of VisApp.  In Sarasota since 2005, he was most recently VP of Corporate Development at IntegraClick.  He is a founding member and a director of STF.
